Terms & Policy for downloading and using items from DaraSims

  1. Recolor:
    • You may recolor meshes.
    • Please DON’T include meshes with recolor (link back to this site for original mesh).
  2. Meshes:
    • Please DON’T modify or convert my meshes.
  3. Uploading:
    • Please DON’T upload my works anywhere. Just give links to them on Darasims.net

 

How to install Custom Content (CC)?

  • The Sims 4:
    • Extracting Zip/Rar files.
    • Files with the extension .package put in a folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods. You can create sub-folders inside \Mods.
    • Script mods no required extraction and put in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods too. Script mods need to be placed directly in \Mods or 1 level below that (e.g. \Mods\Scripts), sub-folders nested any deeper won’t work.
    • Sim files (.trayitem, .hhi, .sgi and .householdbinary) put in a folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Tray.
    • Lot files (.trayitem, .bluprint and .bpi) put in a folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Tray too.
  • The Sims 3:
    • Extracting Zip/Rar files.
    • Files with the extension .package put in a folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages. You can create sub-folders inside \Packages. Also download and put into \Mods file resource.cfg (it should be next to \Packages).
    • Files with the extension .sims3pack put in a folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads. Then run The Sims 3 Launcher, select the Download button on left, place a check beside each CC that is not installed and select Install.
    • Files with the extension .sim (sim files) put in a folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims.
  • The Sims 2:
    • Extracting Zip/Rar files.
    • Files with the extension .package put in a folder Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads. You can create sub-folders inside \Downloads.
    • Files with the extension .sims2pack are installed by double-clicking on the file icon using TS2 Package Installer.

 

How to download from adFly?

  1. Disable AdBlock for adf.ly (as an exception or temporarily).
  2. Wait for the download in the upper right corner of the screen.

  4. You will redirect to Mediafire (or any other fileshare) for download files.

  5. Do not download any files except the archive with the name of the work (e.g. DaraS_NameOfProject_230912.zip).
